На теледебатах кандидатів у прем'єри Великої Британії глави МЗС Ліз Трасс та екс-канцлера Казначейства Ріші Сунака під час прямого ефіру стався нещасний випадок, трансляцію дебатів перервано.

У той час, коли в кадрі крупним планом була Трасс, перед нею поза кадром пролунав гуркіт, глава МЗС виглядала переляканою і вийшла з кадру.

Після цього трансляція перервалася.

Як заявив через кілька хвилин представник телеканалу, ексцес мав "медичний характер", загрози безпеці для учасників дебатів не було і трансляцію дебатів планувалося відновити за першої нагоди.

За повідомленням телеканалу, ведуча TalkTV Кейт МасКанн втратила свідомість у студії. Телекомпанія каже, що зараз її здоров'ю нічого не загрожує, але продовження дебатів сьогодні не буде.

На попередніх дебатах Трасс та Сунак згадали Україну та Росію. Обидва політики відзначили британські санкції проти Росії та підтримку України зброєю.
