Українська пам’ятна монета «Євромайдан» увійшла до фіналу Міжнародного конкурсу «Краща монета року» у номінації «Краще художнє рішення». Про це повідомили у прес-службі Нацбанку.

Організатором конкурсу є впливове американське видання «Krause Publication». Підбиття підсумків відбулося під час роботи 46-ого Всесвітнього ярмарку грошей у німецькому Берліні. У фінал конкурсу у 10 номінаціях потрапило 100 монет, випущених у 2015 році монетними дворами та національними банками країн світу.

«Пам’ятну монету «Євромайдан» Національний банк України присвятив акціям протесту, що відбувалися в Україні протягом листопада 2013 року – лютого 2014 року і були наповнені прагненням до змін, європейського напряму розвитку нашої держави», - йдеться у повідомленні відомства.

Нагадаємо, що у 2000 році срібна пам’ятна монета «Різдво Христове» була визнана найбільш надихаючою монетою у цьому конкурсі.
