Microsoft зарегистрировала адрес abc.wtf, который перенаправляет на принадлежащий компании поисковик Bing, пишет lookatme.ru

Домен зарегистрировали через несколько часов после объявления о реструктуризации Google, которая вошла в материнский холдинг Alphabet. Его сайт находится по адресу abc.xyz. Согласно инструменту сайта DomainTools, IP-адрес abc.wtf находится в Редмонде (США), городе штаб-квартиры Microsoft. Позже СМИ заметили, что адрес abc.fail тоже переходит на главную Bing. Но его IP находится в Байерне (Германия).

После объявления о реструктуризации Google некоторые СМИ, например, Mashable, вышли с аббревиатурой WTF в заголовке. Позже в коде сайта Alphabet нашли «пасхальное яйцо» со ссылкой на сайт hooli.xyz. Он принадлежит вымышленному стартапу Hooli из сериала «Кремниевая долина». В одном из эпизодов сериала появлялся бывший президент Google Ларри Пейдж.

Материнская компания Alphabet появилась в результате реструктуризации Google. По ней все крупные подразделения, входящие в Google, а также сам Google стали частью нового холдинга. Alphabet возглавили сооснователи Google Сергей Брин и Ларри Пейдж. Главой Google стал Сундар Пичаи, бывший руководитель Android, Chrome и других продуктов компании. Глава Microsoft Сатья Наделла поздравил Пичаи с новой должностью после его назначения.
