Microsoft представил редизайн около 100 иконок в своих приложениях и сервисах, включая и обновленное лого Windows.

Новый дизайн включает глубину, градиент и сглаженные края. «Мы столкнулись в двумя главными креативными челленджами, когда готовили новую волну редизайна иконок, –  отметил Джон Фридман, корпоративный вице-президент по дизайну и исследованиям в Microsoft. – Нам нужно было рассказать об инновациях и переменах, сохранив знакомый дизайн для наших покупателей. Нам нужно было создать гибкую и открытую систему, чтобы охватить разные контексты и остаться верными Microsoft». Напомним, год назад Microsoft обновил иконки Office.
