Прем'єр-міністр Британії і лідер Консервативної партії Тереза ​​Мей проголосувала на позачергових парламентських виборах

Мей для голосування вирушила в свій виборчий округ в місті Мейденхед (графство Беркшир). Сама вона також є кандидатом у парламентарі, результати голосування по її округу будуть підраховані пізно вночі.

Основна інтрига виборів - чи зуміє правляча Консервативна партія зміцнити становище в парламенті або, як мінімум, зберегти абсолютну більшість (326 місць), яке дозволяє їй одноосібно формувати кабінет міністрів.

Голосування триватиме до 22.00 за місцевим часом.

Відразу після цього будуть опубліковані дані exit-polls і почнеться підрахунок голосів, який триватиме всю ніч. Остаточні дані про результат голосування будуть оголошені 9 червня.

За підсумками виборів визначиться склад кабінету міністрів і буде сформована палата громад парламенту.
