"Звичайно, ми будемо проводити переговори з Вільною демократичною партією, а також із партією "Зелених", - сказала Меркель.

Коаліцію в такому форматі називають "Ямайкою" - за кольорами партій, що співпадають із кольором ямайського прапору.

За даними Deutsche Welle, таку коаліцію підтримують 57% німецьких громадян. Якщо про "Ямайку" домовитися не вдасться, 65% німців згодні на проведення дострокових виборів.

При цьому поновлення так званої великої коаліції християнських демократів із соціал-демократами СДПН, яка керувала країною впродовж останніх чотирьох років, підтримує лише 31%.
