Міський голова Свердловська, Луганської обл., Шмальц О.І. видав розпорядження про відкриття шкіл та інших закладів 11 травня 2014 року для обладнання в цих приміщеннях виборчих дільниць для проведення "референдуму".
 
Також є інформація щодо того, щодо того, що дільниці відкриються в більшості місць, де вони працюють звичайно.
 
ОВК 112 округу не співпрацює з сепаратистами, вони відмовилися видавати списки виборців та членів ДВК. Також закрили приміщення окружної комісії та прийняли рішення не виходити на роботу 11-го травня.Люди, заявлені членами ДВК на президентські вибори 2014 не беруть участі у роботі дільниць для так званого референдуму. Хто саме буде в цих комісіях - невідомо, поки що не було жодної інформації про місцевих, що беруть в цьому участь.
 
Один з організаторів "референдуму", коли члени ОВК відмовилися видавати списки виборців, заявив, цитую, "будемо заповнювати пустографки".
 
Бюлетенів поки що ми не бачили, а є інформація, що там буде всього одне питання "Чи підтримуєте ви приєднання до Росії", дві відповіді: "так", "ні"
