Дружина британського принца Гаррі Меган Маркл планує балотуватися в президенти США. Про це в четвер, 16 липня, повідомляє видання The Mirror з посиланням на королівського експерта Беверлі Тернер.

 

За її словами, Маркл всерйоз планує поборотися за крісло в Овальному кабінеті.

"Вона буде балотуватися на посаду президента, я не сумніваюся в цьому. Впевнена, що це все частина плану. Може, це відбудеться не дуже скоро, але це трапиться", - стверджує Тернер.

Наприкінці червня стало відомо, що принц Гаррі і Меган Маркл підписали контракт з агентством Harry Walker в Нью-Йорку. Передбачається, що герцог і герцогиня Сассекські будуть виголошувати промови на різних конференціях і форумах. За один виступ подружжя може отримати близько одного мільйона доларів.

З першого квітня принц Гаррі і Меган Маркл перестали виконувати обов'язки членів британської королівської сім'ї. Щоб отримати право переїхати до США, працювати і займатися підприємницькою діяльністю, їм довелося відмовитися від звернення "Ваша королівська високість", державного фінансування і торгової марки Sussex Royal.
