Продюсером англомовної версії призначено Кевіна Ротрока, головного редактора «Еха рунета».

В англомовній версії працює дві людини: Ротрок та Костянтин Бенюмов (керував The Runet, раніше «Лента.ру»), останній став її головним редактором,пише Media Sapiens

«Ми хочемо, щоб було де читати нормальні новини англійською, зроблені не Russia Today і не “Спутником”», - каже Костянтин Бенюмов.

Англомовна версія буде переказувати новини про Росію для іноземних читачів.   Контент версії буде складати приблизно 20% від всього обсягу російськомовного сайту. Новини редактори писатимуть самі, для частини матеріалів замовлятимуть переклад.  

«Ми цінуємо нашу незалежність і прагнемо бути надійним джерелом об’єктивної, перевіреної та неупередженої інформації про Росію і колишній Радянський союз», - йдеться у повідомлення англомовної версії.

Слоганом ресурсу було обрано гру слів, яка робить відсилку до «Russia Today».

Нагадаємо, що екс-головред «Лента.Ру» Галина Тимченко заснувала медійний проект Meduza у Латвії в серпні 2014 року.
