Президент Беларуси Александр Лукашенко в четверг подал документы в Центризбирком для участия в очередных президентских выборах, которые пройдут в августе.

Как сообщает TUT.by, конкуренцию президенту на выборах хотять составить блогер и директор ОДО "Студия Компас" Сергей Тихановсий, который отбывает 15-суточный арест, действующий депутат, глава Либерально-демократической партии Олег Гайдукевич и еще 10 человек, среди которых инженер-дизайнер Виталий Зелковский, фермер из Гомельской области Юрий Ганцевич и восемь "кандидатов протеста" из команды Николая Статкевича.

Заседание Центральной комиссии Республики Беларусь по выборам, где будут рассматриваться вопросы регистрации инициативных групп граждан по выдвижению кандидатов в президенты, состоится утром 15 мая..

Напомним, что предыдущие выборы президента Лукашенко выиграл с результатом 83,49%.

Он является бессменным президентом Беларуси с 1994 года. В случае победы на августовских выборах, он может пойти на шестой срок.
