Самопроголошений президент Білорусі Олександр Лукашенко назвав демократичні вибори "підлістю", яку хочуть підкинути його країні.

Про це повідомляє БЕЛТА з посиланням на заяву Лукашенка під час візиту в одну з лікарень з хворими на СOVID

"Ви, напевно, помітили, що основний удар наших протестунів наноситься по президенту і вертикалі влади. Давай, демократія, всі повинні обиратися... Ми це проходили в період Горбачова. Ми ж обирали всіх – керівників підприємств, директорів. Ну що, довибирали? І країну втратили, і Союз розвалився. Нам цю підлість хочуть підкинути зараз".

Разом з тим Лукашенко заявив, що виступає за внесення поправок до Конституції і переконаний в необхідності коригування повноважень президента, але його хвилює те, що "незнайомому президенту таку Конституцію віддавати не можна", тому що "буде біда".

За його словами, в Білорусі "дуже серйозна Конституція", таку ж "серйозну жорстку Конституцію, де від рішення президента залежить все", мають ще тільки "три просунутих держави – Казахстан, Росія" і Білорусь.

Лукашенко додав, що "треба створити нову Конституцію, але вигідну для країни, щоб потім країна не обвалилася".
