Глава французской ультраправой партии "Национальный фронт" Марин Ле Пен заявила в эфире радио Europe 1, что ее партия не финансируется Россией.

На вопрос, финансируется ли ее политическая сила Россией или российскими банками, Ле Пен ответила отрицательно.

Политик уточнила, что "Национальному фронту" приходится обращаться за займами в иностранные банки, поскольку французские отказали ей в кредитовании, в отличие от остальных участников президентской гонки.

Ле Пен является кандидатом в президенты Франции. Она заявляла, что в случае победы на выборах инициирует выход Франции из Европейского союза и наладит отношения с Россией.

24 марта она посетила РФ, где встретилась с президентом РФ Владимиром Путиным.

В СМИ неоднократно появлялась информация, что партия Ле Пен спонсируется Россией, но она сама это отрицает. Агентство Bloomberg сообщало, что по финансовому положению партии существенно ударил тот факт, что Центробанк России отозвал лицензию у главного кредитора Ле Пен – "Первого чешско-российского банка".

Французские банки отказались спонсировать избирательную кампанию Ле Пен.
