Лідер французьких ультраправих Марін Ле Пен оголосила, що буде балотуватися на пост президента Франції на виборах 2022 року.

Про це повідомляє "Європейська правда" з посиланням на Politico.

 "Я готуюся до президентських виборів", - сказала Ле Пен, додавши, що остаточне висунення її як кандидата має відбутися на конференції її партії "Національне об’єднання".

"Еммануель Макрон вже фактично почав президентську кампанію, я не дозволю йому брати в ній участь наодинці", - додала вона.

Ле Пен втретє балотуватиметься на пост президента Франції. У 2012 році вона не вийшла до фінального раунду, а в 2017 році Макрон переміг її в другому турі з великим відривом.

51-річна Ле Пен була членом Європейського парламенту з 2009 по 2017 рік і стала лідером ультраправого "Національного об’єднання" в 2011 році, коли партія ще була відома як "Національний фронт".

Партія була заснована її батьком Жаном-Марі Ле Пеном, який безуспішно балотувався на пост президента на французьких виборах 2002 року.
