Дослідження, проведене компанією YouGov серед 1000 курців у Німеччині, розкриває цікаві факти про вплив куріння на робочий час. 


Виявилося, що в середньому щодня курці витрачають 25 хвилин на перерви під цигарку, що в сумі становить цілих 92 години на рік. Це майже два тижні робочого часу, які витрачаються на перерви через куріння.

Дивно, що більшість курців не схильні скорочувати свою обідню перерву, враховуючи час, витрачений на куріння. Таким чином, вони опиняються у більш виграшному становищі, насолоджуючись додатковим часом відпочинку порівняно з колегами, які не палять. 

Цікаво й те, що лише п'ята частина курців відчуває тиск з боку колег через свої короткі перерви, тоді як більшість не помічають невдоволення з боку людей, що їх оточують. 

Це може свідчити про те, що вплив куріння на робочу атмосферу виявляється менш значущим, ніж багато хто міг би припускати.
