Претендент на выдвижение кандидатом в президенты Соединенных Штатов Америки (США) от Республиканской партии Тед Круз и претендент от Демократической партии Берни Сандерс одержали победу на первичных выборах в штате Висконсин во вторник, 5 апреля. Об этом сообщает Reuters, передает РБК.

Так, республиканец Круз набрал почти 50% голосов и обошел своего коллегу по партии миллиардера Дональд Трампа - менее 40%.

Таким образом, на данный момент Круз победил в 10 штатах.

Отмечается, что победа Круза в Висконсине является прорывом для сил в Республиканской партии, борющихся против избрания кандидатом миллиардера Дональда Трампа.

Также сообщается, что у Трампа "в копилке" было 737 делегатов, у Круза — 481. Для общей победы необходимо заручиться поддержкой 1237 делегатов.

У демократов Сандерс набрал 55% голосов, а его соперница, бывший госсекретарь США Хиллари Клинтон - 44%.

Демократы "разыгрывали" в Висконсине голоса 86 делегатов. До этого в гонке в целом Клинтон лидировала с 1712 голосов, а у Сандерса было - 1011.
