Інвестиційна компанія Seyefull Investments в Белізі вирішила нажитися на збитому на Донбасі Boeing 777 і запатентувала номер його рейсу як торговельну марку.

Як повідомляє The Guardian, компанія закріпила своє право на використання номера MH17 і тепер вимагає гроші від телекомпаній, радіостанцій і друкованих ЗМІ за статті про авіакатастрофу на Сході України.

Seyefull Investments зробила з номеру кривавого рейсу власний комерційний бренд в той же день, коли малайзійський літак розбився на Сході України.

"Попри те, що реєстрація бренду може бути цілком законною, і компанія може мати успіх у спробі заробити гроші на згадках рейсу MH17, це все одно залишається фактом бридкої, опортуністської спроби отримати прибутки на стражданнях тисяч людей, які втратили родичів", - йдеться в статті.
