Китайські правоохоронці затримали чотирьох осіб, яких підозрюють у використанні ChatGPT для розробки програм-вимагачів. Про це повідомило видання South China Morning Post, передає Speka.

Це перший випадок, коли генеративний штучний інтелект використовується для злочинних цілей у Китаї. Варто також зазначити, що мовна модель ChatGPT нині заборонена в цій країні.

Першою жертвою хакерів стала маловідома компанія з Ханчжоу, системи якої були заблоковані шкідливим програмним забезпеченням. Хакери вимагали за відновлення доступу 20 тисяч стейблкоїнів Tether (близько 20 тисяч доларів).  

Згодом підозрювані зізналися, що «писали версії програм-вимагачів за допомогою ChatGPT», утім, невідомо, чи було використання чатбота частиною звинувачень.

У травні ми писали про те, що в Китаї вперше заарештували за використання штучного інтелекту. Чоловік з провінції Ганьсу опублікував фейкову новину про залізничну аварію, створену через бот ChatGPT.
