На честь відкриття нового ресторану KFC у чилійському місті Пунта-Аренас, який став найпівденнішою точкою на континенті, мережа вирішила створити щось знакове.

 

Для цього KFC взяв найбільш знаковий елемент чилійської Патагонії — найхрусткіший лід з її гір — і перетворив його на культове відро. 

3-тонне відро, повністю виготовлене вручну з льоду, відібраного в регіоні місцевими ремісниками, зробило його найбільшою крижаною зовнішньою рекламою, коли-небудь створеною в Південній Америці. 

Мережа розмістила його в найбільш відвідуваному місці зимового сезону, здивувавши багатьох і створивши потужну впізнаваність бренду.
