Один з кандидатів у президенти США від Республіканської партії Ренд Пол заявив, що планує запропонувати законопроект про припинення видачі віз для біженців з тих держав, де йдуть збройні конфлікти з екстремістами.

Про це йдеться в повідомленні на його офіційному сайті, пише Українська правда

"Сьогодні я представляю законопроект, який буде закликати до негайного мораторію на візи для біженців. "Мій законопроект також закликатиме до зупинки видачі віз для іммігрантів, бажаючим вчитися або відвідати США з приблизно 30 країн, де є значні рухи джихадистів", - заявив він .

Повідомляється, що рішення запропонувати такий законопроект було пов'язано з тим, що принаймні один з терористів, що брав участь в атаках в Парижі, потрапив до Франції як мігрант з Сирії.
