Чеченский глава Рамзан Кадыров заявил о желании завершить карьеру на своей нынешней должности. Как передает PRпортал, об этом политик заявил вчера в эфире телеканала «Москва 24». «Хочу закончить свою карьеру будучи руководителем региона, республики», — пояснил Кадыров. В то же время, он добавил, что не претендует на руководящую должность в стране. С его слов, он «не такого уровня человек», чтобы стать руководителем какого-либо федерального министерства.

О намерении покинуть свой пост Кадыров сообщал в ноябре 2017 года, отметив, что пришло время для изменений в Чеченской Республике. По словам чеченского главы, «когда-то нужны были такие, как я, чтобы воевать, навести порядок».

Отметим, что главой Чечни Кадыров стал в 2007 году. На прямых выборах в 2016 году он заручился поддержкой более 97,5 процента голосов избирателей. Ранее Кадыров пригрозил Ингушетии вооруженным конфликтом, а также обвинил Францию в радикализации выходца из Чечни, атаковавшего в мае прохожих в Париже. В следствие инцидента четверо человек были ранены, а нападавшего ликвидировали полицейские.
