Блогер, фотограф и бизнесмен Илья Варламов открывает собственное "авторское СМИ". Новый сайт начал работу 15 июня по адресу varlamov.ru на платформе Livejournal.

Это первый подобный опыт трансформации личного блога в информационный проект, отметил сегодня сам блогер и представители холдинга Rambler&Co, которому принадлежит ЖЖ.

Илья Варламов рассказал, что ежедневно его блог посещало 4 млн уникальных пользователей, которые в рамках ЖЖ трудно монетизировать. Помимо этого, блог имеет ограниченный функционал и неудобный поисковик. В связи с этим было принято решение перевода блога на новый уровень информационного медиа, которое при этом не планируют регистрировать в Роскомнадзоре.

Коммерческий директор нового проекта Екатерина Патюлина отметила, что в ближайшем будущем на сайте, помимо рекламных постов, будут предоставлены и другие форматы рекламы. В их числе - медийная и таргетировангая реклама, а также спецпроекты. Рекламу на сайте будут продавать самостоятельно: на сегодняшний день сейлз-отдел насчитывает 4 человека, пишет Sostav.ru.

Для Rambler&Co проект Ильи стал первым экспериментом трансформации личного блога в полноценное СМИ. По словам Дмитрия Малова, исполнительного директора холдинга, в течении года подобная практика будет отлажена. Таким образом, у всех пользователей Livejournal появится возможность создавать свои информационные проекты в рамках блогплатформы.

Напомним, в начале июня Варламов сообщил о закрытии своего блога. Тогда же блогер сообщил о планах запустить другой медийный проект.
