Європейський Союз не визнає результати місцевих російських виборів, проведених на окупованому Кримському півострові 8 вересня
Відповідна заява речника ЄС оприлюднена на сайті Європейської служби зовнішніх дій.
 

"Європейський Союз не визнає незаконну анексію Криму й Севастополя Російською Федерацією, і продовжує засуджувати це порушення міжнародного права. Виходячи з цього, Європейський Союз не визнає проведення виборів на Кримському півострові. Будь-які люди, обрані на Кримському півострові, які претендують на "представлення" інтересів населення Криму і Севастополя, не будуть визнаватися як представники цих територій, які належать Україні", - йдеться у повідомленні.

Речник підкреслив, що Європейський Союз залишається непохитним у підтримці територіальної цілісності та суверенітету України.
