Як повідомляє Reuters, 11 грудня представники країн Європейського Союзу планують обговорити запровадження перших санкцій, спрямованих проти російських гібридних загроз. 

До таких загроз відносять втручання у вибори, кібератаки та економічні диверсії.  

Очікується, що до санкційного списку, який був затверджений у жовтні, додадуть 16 осіб і три організації. Більшість із них мають російське походження. Однак у списку також зазначені три особи з Молдови, Кот-д'Івуару та Грузії, а також одна організація, що базується в Того.  

НАТО ще в травні повідомляло про зростання кількості атак, які приписують росії, по всій Європі. Основними цілями стали Чехія, Естонія, Німеччина, Латвія, Литва, Польща та Велика Британія.  

Запровадження нових санкцій стане відповіддю на посилення гібридного впливу, який загрожує політичній стабільності та безпеці європейських країн.
