Российский философ шовинистического направления, идеолог "русского мира" Александр Дугин был остановлен в аэропорту греческого города Салоники. 

Пограничные службы запретили ему пересекать границы Европейского союза. Об этом сообщается на сайте телеканала "Царьград", главным редактором которого является Дугин.

Дугин направлялся на Святую гору Афон для подготовки серии материалов.

Он утверждает, что ему не запрещен въезд в ЕС, несмотря на его деятельность.

С начала 2000-х годов Дугин отстаивал идеи "евразийства", русского мира и крайнего русского этнического национализма, предлагая их в качестве идеологической платформы российской власти. Он был сторонником ввода российских войск на территорию Украины.
