Один из вероятных претендентов на пост президента США Хиллари Клинтон может уйти из политики после того, как у ее дочери родится ребенок.

"Осенью я стану бабушкой. Это изменит мою жизнь. Я не знаю, как я себя буду чувствовать. Я хочу почувствовать, каково это — быть бабушкой. Я не хочу думать на том, что будет через два года. Я хочу сосредоточиться на ребенке", — заявила 66-летняя Клинтон, передает телеканал NBC.

О своей беременности единственная дочь экс-президента США Билла Клинтона Челси объявила в апреле. Будущие бабушка и дедушка сообщили, что ожидают появление внука или внучки к концу года.

Напомним, бывший госсекретарь намерена дать окончательный ответ относительно своего возможного участия в президентской гонке к концу текущего года. Между тем политологи отмечают, что статус бабушки должен положительно сказаться на рейтинге Клинтон.
