Госдепартамент США поздравил украинцев с "мирными и историческими парламентскими выборами, которые дали четкий результат и подчеркнули приверженность Украины демократическим идеалам".

Об этом сообщила пресс-служба посольства Украины в США.

"Мы будем работать с новой властью в Украине и украинским народом на пути реформ, которые являются критически важными для успешной страны. Соединенные Штаты подтверждают свою непоколебимую поддержку Украины в условиях российской агрессии. Мы будем продолжать стоять плечом к плечу с народом Украины в построении сильной, успешной, демократической и безопасной государства в ее международно признанных границах ", - говорится в заявлении.

Напомним, 21 июля в Украине состоялись внеочередные выборы в Раду. По результатам обработки 98,95% электронных протоколов, в парламент проходит президентская партия "Слуга народа" (43,14% голосов избирателей), "Оппозиционная платформа - За жизнь" (ОПЗЖ) - 13,02%, ВО "Батькивщина" - 8,18%, "Европейская солидарность" - 8,12% и "Голос" - 5,84%.
