Секретарь горсовета Харькова Игорь Терехов обратился к Верховной Раде с просьбой назначить новые выборы мэра Харькова, сообщает телеканал АТН.

"Мы сделали все в установленном законом порядке", - сказал он.

Как сообщает Суспільне, накануне юристы горсовета подготовили соответствующее обращение, которое Терехов подписал и 1 января направил в парламент.

Напомним, 17 декабря многолетний мэр Харькова Геннадий Кернес умер в немецкой клинике Шарите в результате осложнений от заболевания коронавирусом. Его похоронили в Харькове 23 декабря. Проститься с мэром пришли более ста тысяч человек.
