У Google виявили спроби хакерів взяти під контроль комп'ютерні системи передвиборних штабів американського президента Дональда Трампа і його майбутнього головного конкурента Джозефа Байдена. Про це ввечері в четвер, 3 червня, повідомив глава відділу Google з кібербезпеки Шейн Хантлі в Twitter.

За його словами, хакерські атаки на штаб Байдена проводилися з Китаю, а Трампа - з Ірану. За словами Хантлі, у хакерів може бути зв'язок з владою своїх країн.

Зараз в Google стверджують, що немає жодних ознак того, що хакери домоглися успіху. Однак Хантлі дав деякі рекомендації виборчим штабам про те, як діяти в таких ситуаціях.

"Якщо ви працюєте над кампанією в цьому циклі виборів, ваші особисті облікові записи можуть бути зламані. Використовуйте найкращий захист, який тільки зможете. Двофакторна аутентифікація або підвищений захист дійсно можуть змінити ситуацію", - зазначив він і додав, що Google повідомив про атаки хакерів користувачів, яких вони могли стосуватися, а також співробітників правоохоронних органів.

Раніше повідомлялося, що в Україні зафіксували хвилю кібератак на сайти держустанов. За тиждень у Держспецзв'язку зафіксували 12 кібератак.

Також повідомлялося, що в Європарламенті виявили масштабний витік даних. У відкритий доступ потрапила конфіденційна інформація і паролі, зазначив віце-президент Європарламенту з питань політики в сфері IT Марсель Колайя.
