Глава Нацбанку Валерія Гонтарева з 26 вересня продовжить перебувати у відпустці за свій рахунок до затвердження її відставки.

Про це повідомляє "Інтерфакс-Україна" з посиланням на прес-службу НБУ.

"Відповідно до закону "Про Національний банк України" глава нацбанку звільняється з посади Верховною Радою за поданням президента. У зв'язку з цим Гонтарева перебуває у відпустці без збереження заробітної плати до відповідного рішення президента і парламенту України", - йдеться в повідомленні.

При цьому в прес-службі відзначили, що глава НБУ не має наміру повертатися до роботи в Нацбанк.

Як відомо, Валерія Гонтарева ще 10 квітня заявила, що з 10 травня йде у відставку з посади голови Нацбанку.

Але її прохання не задовольнили – і вона вирішила піти у тривалу відпустку.

Із 8 серпня до 26 вересня Гонтарева у відпустці за свій рахунок і за рахунок відгулів.

Виконуючим обов'язки глави НБУ призначений її перший заступник Яків Смолій.

Гонтарева – дев'ятий керівник Нацбанку України за всю історію його існування з 1991 року.
