У зв'язку зі скандалом довколо журналіста Олександра Плющева свою посаду може втратити головний редактор радіостанції "Эхо Москвы" Олексій Венедиктов, який відмовляється його звільняти.

Про це повідомив голова ради директорів холдингу "Газпром-Медіа" Михайло Лесін, передає РБК.

За словами Лесіна, звільнення журналіста "Эха Москвы" Олександра Плющева - справа вирішена. Якщо головний редактор "Эха Москвы" не погодиться зі звільненням журналіста, це, "цілком можливо", закінчиться відставкою самого Венедиктова, заявив Лесін.

Він не став припускати, яку статтю трудового законодавства може бути використано у цьому разі - "це юристи розберуться", сказав він.

За словами Лесіна, він обговорював звільнення Плющева з Венедиктовим напередодні ввечері, главред "погодився з тим, що вчинок [Плющева] аморальний". Глава "Газпром-Медіа" повідомив Венедиктову, що якщо той сам не прийме рішення про звільнення, то це зробить рада директорів.

Згодом Венедиктов заявив, що не збирається подавати у відставку. "У відставку я не подам, не можу кинути Михайла Юрійовича в такому скрутному становищі. Я розумію, як і хто його тисне, але він повинен теж зрозуміти, що порушення статуту - це кінець корпорації, кінець" Газпром-Медіа", - сказав главред "Эха Москвы".

PRпортал нагадає, журналіста "Эха Москвы" Олександра Плющева намагаються звільнити за ефір про Донецький аеропорт і твіт про сина глави АП Путіна Сергія Іванова.
