Український фільм жахів «Морена» режисера Сергія Альошечкіна здобув головну премію від Tokyo Horror Film Festival у номінації «Найкращий художній фільм». Про це повідомило Державне агентство України з питань кіно.
Зйомки фільму завершені у 2018 році. В широкий прокат стрічка вийде восени 2024 року.
«Сюжет стрічки розповідає про пару закоханих, Ганну та Юрка, які влітку приїжджають на гостини до батьків дівчини у невеличке село. Молода відьма Іванка, яку односельці прозвали Мореною, кладе око на Юрка в ніч на Івана Купала та наражає його на небезпеку. Своїм чаклунством відьма змушує Ганну заради життя коханого пов'язати себе з Іванкою містичними путами. Це стає початком низки таємничих вбивств та перетворень, яким доведеться протистояти молодим закоханим», — зазначили в Держкіно.
Фільм створено українською кінокомпанією Ganza film за підтримки Державного агентства України з питань кіно.
