Голова Меджлісу кримськотатарського народу Рефат Чубаров звернувся до жителів анексованого Росією Криму. Він закликав їх повністю бойкотувати всі етапи незаконних виборів до російської Держдуми.

Рефат Чубаров нагадав, що ніхто не має права примушувати до участі у виборах, в тому числі і за законами Російської Федерації, повідомляє Радіо Свобода

«Бойкот виборів 18 вересня 2016 року – мирна ненасильницька форма опору російським окупантам, доступна кожному і гідна кожної чесної людини. Бойкот виборів 18 вересня 2016 року – це наша підтримка політичним в’язням та їхнім родинам. 18 вересня 2016 року – жодної чесної людини на виборчих дільницях Криму», – сказав Рефат Чубаров.

Вибори до Державної думи Російської Федерації заплановані на 18 вересня за мішаною системою: 225 депутатів обиратимуться за партійними списками, 225 – за одномандатними округами. Вперше голосування відбуватиметься в окупованому Криму.

Верховна Рада України звернулася до парламентів іноземних держав і міжнародних організацій з проханням утриматися від участі в спостереженні за ходом виборів до Держдуми Росії в анексованому Криму, а також закликає за будь-яких обстав не визнавати їхніх результатів.

Речник російського президента Володимира Путіна Дмитро Пєсков заявив 8 вересня, що Росія ніяк не реагуватиме на можливу відмову парламентів іноземних держав визнати результати майбутніх виборів на території Криму.
