Заступник голови Національної ради із питань телебачення і радіомовлення Ольга Герасим'юк розповіла, що на експертному медійному зібранні ОБСЄ у Відні російські представники виявили перед усією Європою некомпетентність і цілковиту нездатність вести діалог. Про це вона розповіла на своїй сторінці у Facebook.

Московські пропагандисти здохли — це так очевидно було вчора в Відні... Це вже не породисті геббельсовидні пси — це кумедні опудала, що зараз працюють уже самі на себе. Вони навіть не знали, які були жалюгідні й комічні, — вважає Герасим'юк.

Головними проблемами, що їх обговорювали на форумі, були протидія пропаганді та тероризму: представники ОБСЄ наполягали на необхідності визначення цих термінів і протидії їм уже на законодавчому рівні.

Натомість представники Росії (телеканалів "Россия 24", "Russia today" та Спілки журналістів Росії), як повідомила Герасим'юк, під прикриттям цієї тези проштовхували своє бачення конфліктів в Україні та Сирії, закликаючи усіх до "згоди та дружньої роботи".

При цьому вони порушували будь-який протокол, так що очільник ОБСЄ у питаннях свободи преси Дунья Міятович навіть інколи погрожувала декому з росіян вигнанням із зали.
