Кандидат в заместители главы Одесской облгосадминистрации Мария Гайдар заявляет, что отказалась от российского гражданства.

Об этом Гайдар заявила в эфире "Первого городского канала" (Одесса),передает УНИАН.

"Я написала заявление об отказе от гражданства России. Не знаю, когда это может случиться, но я готова", - сказала она. По ее словам, она понемногу осваивается в Одессе, изучает проблемы местного населения.

Комментируя получение гражданства Украины, Гайдар отметила, что это было для нее непростым решением.

"Но, когда я все-таки получила паспорт, то почувствовала, что сделала что-то очень правильное. Я настроена на то, чтобы строить новую преуспевающую Украину. И очень горжусь этим", - заявила Гайдар, добавив, что в Одессу переехала вместе с супругом и дочерью.

Она акцентировала, что у нее честные намерения, есть большое желание работать и приносить пользу. Хочет доказать, что достойна оказанного ей доверия президентом Петром Порошенко и главой Одесской ОГА Михеилом Саакашвили.

Гайдар рассказала, что в России остались другие члены ее семьи, и очень надеется, что у них не возникнет проблем из-за ее решения стать гражданкой Украины.

"У меня, например, три брата. Они занимаются бизнесом и никакого отношения не имеют ко мне, как мы не имеем отношения к их делам, бизнесу. Надеюсь, что у них все будет хорошо. В Москве – много адекватных людей, не все такие, как показывают по телевизору", - сказала Гайдар.
