Таким чином Fox News намагається дистанціюватися від скандалу, пов’язаного з колишнім головним виконавчим директором Роджером Ейлсом (Roger Ailes), який пішов у відставку через звинувачення в сексуальних домаганнях до колег-жінок. Про це пише Media Sapiens з посиланням на New York magazine.
Гасло було частиною мережі з моменту її створення Роджером Ейлсом та Рупертом Мердоком в 1996 році. Надалі телеканал планує використовувати гасло «Канал, який найбільше дивляться. Канал, якому довіряють» (Most Watched. Most Trusted).
Нагадаємо, минулого року колишня ведуча Fox News Гретчен Карлсон подала до суду на директора телеканалу Роджера Ейлса зі звинуваченням у сексуальних домаганнях і неправомірному звільненні. Згодом проти пана Ейлса було висунуто 11 звинувачень від різних позивачів.
