С сайта IKEA в России убрали фотографию однополой пары, лидировавшей в конкурсе на лучший снимок в кругу семьи. Сообщается, что его отозвали сами герои фото, которое с большим отрывом побеждало и могло появиться на обложке нового каталога товаров компании.
Снимок набрал около 7,5 тысяч голосов. Запечатленные на нем молодые люди признавались, что не геи, а фотографию сделали ради эксперимента.
В IKEA традиционно дружелюбно относятся к представителям нетрадиционной сексуальной ориентации. Однако в 2013 году из российского каталога вынуждены были убрать интервью с лесбиянками Кларой и Кирсти из Великобритании. Производитель объяснил такое решение опасениями нарушить российский закон, запрещающий пропаганду нетрадиционных сексуальных отношений среди несовершеннолетних.
