Соцмережа Facebook може почати платити своїм користувачам за перегляд реклами, яка спричинила взаємодію з контентом або ж покупку на її платформі, повідомляє Liga.Tech з посиланням на The Wall Street Journal.
 

Компанія запускає власну криптовалюту Facebook stablecoin, яка буде підкріплена доларами. Саме нею соцмережа буде платити користувачам.

Свою криптовалюту компанія почала розробляти рік тому. Зараз відомо, що проект криптовалюти Facebook має назву Project Libra.

Компанія вже провела переговори з Visa, Mastercard і великим оператором платежів First Data про залучення $1 млрд для забезпечення токенів.

Відомо, що соцмережа також веде переговори з десятками компаній, що займаються онлайн-торгівлею і мобільними платіжними сервісами, щоб вони в майбутньому "взяли в оборот" Project Libra.

Основною умовою є те, що комісія для продавців у платіжній системі Facebook буде нижчою, ніж при процесингу кредитних карт.

Як повідомляв “Детектор медіа”, у березні Facebook дозволив перегляд інформації про замовників та вартість політичної реклами в соцмережі.
