Facebook за рішенням суду заблокував сторінки 12 прихильників президента Бразилії Жаіра Болсонару. Їх звинуватили в розповсюдженні фейкових новин про суддів.

Спочатку Facebook відмовився виконувати рішення суду, посилаючись на порушення свободи слова.

Верховний суд Бразилії у відповідь оштрафував соцмережа на 1,92 мільйонів реалів (близько $ 368 тисяч).

Зараз доступ до акаунтів закритий тільки на території Бразилії.

Серед власників заблокованих сторінок – глава президентської партії Роберту Джефферсон і бразильський бізнесмен Лусіану Ханг.
