Соціальна мережа Facebook заблокувала близько 1,3 млрд фейкових акаунтів протягом жовтня-грудня 2020 року. Більшість з них були заблоковані ще під час їх створення, повідомили у блозі компанії Facebook Inc.

"Ми також розслідуємо і блокуємо таємні операції з впливу з-за кордону та всередині країн, які використовують фейкові сторінки. За останні три роки ми видалили з нашої платформи понад 100 мереж скоординованої недостовірної поведінки", - зазначив у звіті віцепрезидент Facebook з питань добросовісності Гай Розен.

У компанії зазначають, що дезінформацію публікують як боти, так і справжні користувачі. Для виявлення таких порушень на сомережу працює команда з понад 80 фахівців, які перевіряють факти і контент. 

Нагадаємо, що цього березня соціальні мережі Instagram і Facebook почали додавати спеціальні позначки до постів про вакцини від коронавірусу. Це було зроблено для запобігання поширенню дезінформації.
