Главный санитарный врач Виктор Ляшко прокомментировал свое заявление о планах баллотироваться в президенты Украины в 2029 году.

Об этом он сказал в эфире hromadske.

"Это была шутка, и мы должны это понимать", - признался Ляшко.

"Если мы в 2029 году будем помнить фамилию Ляшко, главный государственный санитарный врач, который может влиять на страну… но я думаю, что нет", - добавил он.

Комментировать свое возможное участие в следующих выборах мэра Киева Ляшко не захотел: "Будем комментировать, когда исчезнет слово "слухи", когда будет официальная позиция".

На вопрос, встречался ли уже с президентом Владимиром Зеленским или руководителем его офиса Андреем Ермаком по этому вопросу, Ляшко ответил: "Я поддерживаю доверие президента ко мне как к главному санитарному врачу, если будет такой разговор, думаю, вы услышите официальную позицию и президента, и главного санитарного врача".
