Сьогодні президент України Петро Порошенко назвав акцію «Безсмертний полк» зразком витонченої політичної спекуляції на почуттях людей. На думку російського фінансиста Слави Рабиновича, яку він висловив в коментарі ІnfoResist, таку характеристику акції можна, скоріше, розділити, чому не розділити.

«У тому вигляді, в якому «Безсмертний полк» проходить сьогодні - швидше, так, можна розділити думку Порошенка, ніж не розділити. Всім відомо, як ця акція свого часу починалася, ким вона була придумана, що позначала і як виглядала. Але зараз, коли на демонстраціях в День Перемоги несуть портрети Сталіна, на акцію «Безсмертний полк» виходить висунена на всю голову Поклонська і несе портрет царя, онук Молотова - В'ячеслав Ніконов, який має наукові ступені з історії та займає державні посади в ієрархії державної влади , - несе портрет свого діда, коли ми бачимо кинуті в урни і помийні баки портрети людей, які несли прості учасники маршу і яким ці плакати видавалися за рознарядкою, коли ми знаємо про те, яким чином ця акція тепер організовується, проходить, організовується».

Експерт зазначив, що в 2017 році можна спостерігати за дежавю якогось убогого Радянського Союзу і вигону на демонстрацію людей, які не мають взагалі ніякого відношення ні до чого, які йдуть або за рознарядкою, або за відгул, або за гроші і так далі», - розповів Рабінович.
