Учора ввечері у Стриї на Львівщині представники місцевого "Правого сектору" облили свинячою кров'ю та дали копняка Василеві Базіву. Свого часу він був заступником голови Адміністрації президента за керівництва Віктора Медведчука та спічрайтером колишнього президента Леоніда Кучми. Інцидент стався у Народному Домі, де мав відбутися ювілейний вечір "Бог і Україна" дипломата та письменника, вихідця зі Стрийщини Базіва.

Щойно почалося свято, на сцену вийшли представники "Правого сектору" та заявили, що Базіву тут не місце.У залі були присутні чимало школярів, пише ТСН

"Любі дітки, вас сюди, бачу, запросили такі розумні ваші вчителі на таке велике дійство, яке тут відбувається, а саме такий шановний Василь Базів, який працював на Віктора Медведчука, на Леоніда Кучму. Ви знаєте, хто такий Віктор Медведчук? Кум Путіна, який вбиває наших побратимів, наших дітей, наших батьків. І оця людина зараз прийшла, і буде розповідати про те, який був Майдан, яким він має бути", – звернувся до гостей заходу керівник "Правого сектору" у Стрию Михайло Алєксєєв.

У цей момент інший чоловік підійшов до Базіва та вилив на нього кров. Ще один чоловік після словесної перепалки виштовхав Базіва із сцени, давши йому копняка.
