Преміальний американський бренд текіли Casamigos, заснований голлівудським актором Джорджем Клуні, купив британський алкогольний гігант Diageo за $1 млрд.

Угоду з Diageo було підписано за два тижні після того, як дружина актора Амаль Клуні народила йому двійню дівчинку та хлопчика.

Клуні заснував Casamigos у 2013 році разом із друзями Ранде Гербером і Майком Мелдманом. За їхніми словами, бренд Casamigos (у перекладі з іспанської - "будинок друзів") народився після нічних дружніх посиденьок із текілою.

Ранде Гербер, чоловік супермоделі Сінді Кроуфорд, розповів, що Casamigos "почалася з дружби та задуму створити найсмачнішу м'яку текілу".

Джордж Клуні додав, що він і його друзі "залишаться частиною Casamigos і вип'ють ввечері по шоту. Або навіть по два".

У Diageo заявили про намір зробити Casamigos міжнародним брендом
