"Лідер у Палаті громад Джейкоб Ріс-Мог щойно повідомив депутатам, що у понеділок уряд (Великої Британії — ред.) запропонує друге голосування щодо дострокових парламентських виборів", - йдеться у повідомленні.

Раніше Палата громад Великої Британії в ніч проти четверга не підтримала проведення 15 жовтня дострокових виборів.

Окрім цього,Палата громад схвалила законопроєкт, який зобов'язує британський уряд не здійснювати "жорсткий" Brexit 31 жовтня, а натомість далі відтермінувати вихід країни з ЄС. Тепер цей законопроєкт має розглянути Палата лордів.
