Кандидати на пост президента Білорусі Юрій Губаревич та Олександр Таболіч вирішили зняти свої кандидатури з виборів.

Про це повідомляє білоруське видання TUT.by.

Так, лідер руху "За свободу" Юрій Губаревич заявив, що від початку виборчої кампанії в країні зростали репресії.

"Від початку президентської виборчої кампанії 2020 року влада почали діяти нахабно, брутально і жорстоко. Репресії зростали з кожним тижнем. Не залишилося нічого законного", – сказав він.

Водночас ще один претендент, чия ініціативна група була зареєстрована – музикант Олесь Таболіч заявив, що не зібрав 100 тисяч підписів, необхідних для участі у виборах, а тому знімається з перегонів.

Раніше повідомлялося, що в декількох містах Білорусі 19 червня силовики затримали декількох учасників акції зі збору підписів за кандидатів для участі в президентських виборах, і журналістів, які висвітлювали події. Громадяни також вийшли висловити свою солідарність із затриманими напередодні кількома учасниками президентської кампанії.
