Руководство телеканала Fox News отстранило от работы двух комментаторов за бранные слова, произнесенные в эфире в адрес президента США Барака Обамы, сообщил во вторник первый заместитель генерального директора телеканала Билл Шайн (Bill Shine).

"Ранее сегодня сотрудники Fox подполковник Ральф Питерс и Стейси Дэш сделали в разных программах комментарии, абсолютно неуместные и неприемлемые для нашего эфира", – заявил Шайн, добавив, что руководство канала "не закрывает глаза на подобный язык и отстраняет Питерса и Дэш на две недели", пишет РИА Новости

Как сообщает телеканал CNN, Питерс принес свои извинения за использование нецензурной лексики, добавив, что "выбор слов был неверный, однако мое чувство, думаю, разделяют многие". Дэш в свою очередь оставила сообщение в социальной сети Twitter о том, что за последствия "необходимо расплачиваться".

По данным CNN, Белый дом пока никак не прокомментировал случившееся.
