За даними видання, дівчина завжди хотіла вести прогнози погоди, а тому створила сторінку у Facebook з закликом до французьких телеканалів здійснити її мрію.

Окрім того, вона зняла агітаційний ролик, що за декілька днів набрав більше двох мільйонів переглядів. Зрештою канали France 2 та BFM TV запросили Мелані провести прогнози погоди. Випуски з нею вийдуть в ефір 27 березня.
