Німецьке видання Deutsche Welle звинуватило Туреччину в «кричущому порушенні свободи преси» після того, як турецька влада вилучила в німецьких журналістів запис інтерв'ю з міністром молоді та спорту Туреччини.

Так, під час інтерв'ю з Акіфом Чагатаєм Киличем для передачі «Зона конфлікту» ведучий поставив чиновнику не тільки заздалегідь обговорені питання, але також запитав про невдалу спробу держперевороту, а також про ситуацію з правами людини і ЗМІ в Туреччині.

Відразу після розмови, яка проходила у міністерстві, Килич залишив кімнату, а його прес-секретар заявив, що журналісти не зможуть випустити інтерв'ю в ефір, після чого співробітники міністерства відібрали у журналістів запис.

«Їм дали зрозуміти, що знімальна група не зможе покинути міністерство з записом», - йдеться на сайті видання.

В DW заявили, що вже декілька разів зверталися у відомство з проханням повернути інтерв'ю, однак їм було відмовлено.

У відповідь прес-служба міністерства звинуватила в інциденті самих журналістів. «Поставлені запитання не були заплановані. (...) Деякі заяви були, по суті, звинуваченнями. У такій ситуації дозвіл не було дано», - цитує DW заяву відомства.

Раніше MediaSapiens писав про посилення тиску на медіа у Туреччині. Після спроби державного перевороту уряд закрив понад 100 ЗМІ і видав ордери на арешти 48 журналістів. Правозахисні організації засудили хвилю постанов, які перетворили країну в світового лідера за арештами журналістів.
