23 вересня 2015 року Київська міська організація ДемАльянсу, під час передвиборчої конференції висунула кандидатом в мери Києва керівника партії Василя Гацька.

Окрім того, під час конференції Київська організація затвердила список кандидатів у Київраду та презентували програму партії "Місто зручне для життя", повідомляє прес-служба партії

Кандидатами в депутати Київради від Демократичного Альянсу були обрані громадські діячі,  журналісти, юристи, експерти з урбаністики, транспорту та архітектури. 

Нагадаємо, Василь ГАЦЬКО в травні 2014 року був обраний депутатом Київської міської ради, входить до постійної комісії з питань бюджету та соціально-економічного розвитку. З 2011 року обіймає посаду голови партії ДемАльянс.

Протягом липня-вересня ДемАльянс проводив відкритий набір кандидатів в депутати місцевих рад. Усі бажаючі могли пройти відбір через Номінаційний комітет партії. Головними критеріями відбору були порядність, відповідальність та професіоналізм.
