Главный редактор бизнес-портала UBR, редактор отдела «Бизнес» газеты «Вести» Елена Лысенко написала  в своем Facebook, что  еженедельник «Деловая столица» в сентябре прекратит свое существование

"Сообщили неприятную новость: один из долгожителей бизнесовой журналистики - «Деловая столица» - прекращает работу в привычном формате", - написала она.

По информации журналиста, редакция подготовит еще два номера еженедельника, после чего будет уволена. "На прошлой неделе журналистам ДС заявили о роспуске. Уволят 12-м сентября", - уточнила Елена Лысенко. Вместе с тем, добавила она, владельцы «Деловой столицы» планируют запустить новый политический проект. Однако достоверной информации об этом пока все же нет.

В свою очередь пресс-служба «Деловой столицы» сообщила об изменении стратегии, а не закрытии издания. В рамках этой стратегии обновится редакционная политика, редакцию покинут главный редактор и часть журналистов, пишет Телекритика

По словам главы правления ЧАО «Картель» Олега Вовкогона, новые лица издания будут представлены через две недели. "Усилим журналистский вклад и аналитическую составляющую издания. Наша цель - стать главным экономическим изданием страны", - рассказал он. При этом газета останется деловым аналитическим СМИ.
